We’ve been working hard these past few months
As 2025 draws to a close, we’ve found ourselves looking back and forward in equal measure. From our daring premiere event to carefully building the next steps forward, our debut year has been both rewarding and trying in many ways.
Over the last quarter, we’ve focused on strengthening ODDfest from the inside out. We’ve grown the team, invested in a vibrant community both online and offline, and worked toward long-term stability for the organization behind the festival.
Along the way, we’ve secured funding and partnerships, refined our operational structure, and begun shaping the bigger picture for 2026—from themes and storylines to how our formats come together.
Now, things are starting to align. And before the year comes to a close, we want to say thank you for being part of this journey.
Consider yourselves the very first ODDones who have been there since the very start.
…and now we can finally show you what we’ve built
We are kicking off the new year by opening the curtain on ODDfest's next chapter.
On Wednesday, January 28th, at Bio Rex Lasipalatsi, the cinema at the heart of Lasipalatsikortteli and the home of ODDfest, something special will take place. The ODDfest 2026 Launch Event.
This unique event marks the first public look at our upcoming second edition.
The evening will offer an early taste of what's ahead, including newly announced venues, evolving program formats, and curatorial directions, as well as opportunities to meet the people behind ODDfest, connect with collaborators, and explore ways to get involved.
A few launch-night surprises will be included. Of course.
We welcome the whole ODDones community, partners, media, and curious minds alike. Join us to experience the first look and feel of ODDfest 2026—and where it's headed next.

From club concepts to workshops, the coming weeks are shaping up to be busy, with a full calendar of Helsinki-based events for our local community.
Expect collaborations with Creative Lunch Club, Tngl Studio, and CreativeMornings, with many more odd team-ups finishing off the list.

Tngl Studio in collaboration with ODDfest and Designkaverit is hosting an Offline Christmas at Designkaverit Studio on Fri Dec 26. So, if you're looking for a relaxed way to spend your Boxing Day, here it is!

ODDLY CREATIVE LUNCH
ODDfest and Creative Lunch Club are back with their collaborative lunch series to unite creatives around a lunch table! This time we’re gathering at the intimate, home-away-from-home Canvas Canteen in Punavuori to meet like-minded people, have unhurried conversations, and connect over a joint meal.

ATTUNEMENT CLUB
ODDfest and TUNEMENT are joining forces to bring you a club experience like no other. ATTUNEMENT takes over Restaurant Via Tribunali in Kallio to bring you high-quality immersive audio on two floors with two distinctive flavors.

OFFLINE COSY COLLAGE WORKSHOP
This event organized by Tngl Studio in collaboration with ODDfest offers exactly what its name entails; making collages surrounded by other creative minds at Oodi Central Library.

CREATIVEMORNINGS WITH RONNY ERIKSSON
Join us for the last Friday of January 2026 when Founder of ODDfest, Ronny Eriksson, tackles the theme of Koorsoo, a faint glimmer of hope in Persian, at the Finnish branch of CreativeMornings at the Architecture & Design Museum.
