Bi-weekly roundup

Hey you, here’s what’s been happening lately

Hop on in. Whether you’re interested in partnering up, collaborating with us in other ways, or just here for the latest updates, we’ve got something nicely lined up for you.

We’re back from the holidays

Odder than ever

However, the season of giving isn’t quite over for us yet.

If you’re noticing something new in the visuals, you’re not imagining it. Consider this your first taste of what’s to come for ODDfest 2026. Darker edges. Braver ideas. Even better when you read this online.

Curious for more? You’ll want to join us for our first official look into our next chapter at the ODDfest 2026 Launch Event on Wednesday, January 28th, at Bio Rex Lasipalatsi.

This evening will certainly be a multi-sensory introduction to what we’re building this year.

We gave, and we got back

Something worth mentioning

ODDfest has been getting some thoughtful attention lately.

Helsingin Sanomat published an opinion piece by our Founder, Ronny Eriksson, exploring how creative industries can play a stronger role in Finland’s innovation economy, and why closer collaboration between culture and business matters now more than ever.

At the same time, Creative Lunch Club included ODDfest in their list of Best Conferences and Festivals for Creatives in 2026. We’re honoured to be part of a lineup shaping what’s next for our industry.

Our sincere thanks for the recognition.

Let’s build something together

As ODDfest continues to grow, so does our curiosity.

We’re widening our partner search to explore what’s out there beyond our usual scopes.

This is an invitation to think together, test ideas, and build something truly creative. We develop concepts, activations, and content that live beyond the festival itself, creating cultural relevance, long-term value, and meaningful audience experiences and connection.

If you’re interested in being part of Finland’s oddest movement and shaping what comes next for the creative economy, we’d love to hear from you.

Get involved

We’re looking for volunteers!

So many of you have reached out to us, eager to help and be part of ODDfest. We hear you, and we’d absolutely love additional helping hands!

Thus, ODDfest has now officially opened a volunteer search for two positions; one event promotion volunteer and one event coordination volunteer, to help us shape ODDfest 2026 and its supported events.

Apply by January 21 by reaching out to [email protected].
